Approval for 400-bed Coventry PBSA

Planning permission has been secured for a 400-bed PBSA scheme in Coventry.

Redford Developments has secured permission from Coventry City Council to redevelop the 1.8 hectare brownfield site next to the University of Warwick.

Existing structures will be demolished to make way for the scheme.

Designed by Maber Architects, the new buildings will range from six metres to 20 metres in height.

“We are very pleased to receive approval for the redevelopment of this brownfield site into a PBSA scheme, with up to 400 beds,” said Richard Meeds, CEO at Redford Developments.

“This project is set to play an important part in the continued expansion of the University of Warwick.

“We are pleased the local planning authority appreciates how appropriate this site is for primely located PBSA.”
